Hello Husky Classmates!
It was so great seeing our groovy classmates for our 50th class reunion. We may have been few in numbers but we were large in enthusiasm!
Over all, you’ve got to admit that the reunion was DY-NO-MITE!
The committee was Right On! with the planning of this event. Securing an outdoor venue at Duke’s was perfect. There was lots to eat and plenty of time to hang with our old high school buds. Old being the operative word.
Speaking of fellow classmates, how about that Charles Unger?
An awesome and successful jazz star! Who knew?? Can you dig it??
Oh, yeh, we sure did! Smoooooth. And the cherry on top was having classmate Rita Ilcken sing for us. Totally rad!
You had an opportunity to boogie on the dance floor and you didn’t disappoint. The blast to the past 70s music was all we needed to get ourselves up and moving. Special thanks to DJ Art Alcaraz/Class of ’68.
And what about that far out! candy bar? Did that bring back great memories or what?! We’re still tasting those Banana Laffy Taffys, Bit O Honey, Air Heads, Pop Rocks, Chick O Sticks, Peanut Butter Bars, Root Beer Barrels and without a doubt; the oldie but goodie of all time…BAZOOKA Bubble Gum! Totally bitchin’!
We are SO FORTUNATE that all of our sponsors stuck with us for well over a year. Even with the uncertainty that followed after they purchased ads not one of them asked for a refund. We are so grateful for their support and hope you will support them in return. ALL of the sponsors are local to Riverside and have current clients on the reunion committee. Please checkout each ad and if you contact any of them be sure to let them know you saw their ad in our flip book program. Beyond cool!
After such a successful night that seemed to go by in a flash,
we can hardly wait to get busy planning next year’s reunion.
Stay safe, keep in touch and Peace Out!
